Trustee ClusterTo volunteer, or for more information call the Church Office at 375-9768 Buildings Maintenance on buildings is an on-going effort. Repair work in the areas of lighting, electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling are needed on a volunteer basis for all of the church buildings, as well as the Grace Center. Volunteers are also needed for big and small construction projects. Grounds This group works with the upkeep of our grounds, weeding, shrub trimming, and sprinkler system repair. Volunteers can be scheduled for weeding and special projects. Contracts and Insurance Services for which we contract out to local businesses include; Janitorial, Air Conditioning, Security, and Parking Log resurfacing. Volunteers may be needed for specific tasks. Church Van Scheduling is done through the church office. A volunteer schedules maintenance or takes care of minor upkeep. Equipment Items needing repair or replacement involves telephones, copiers, fax machine, sound room equipment, and audio/video equipment. Programming of the Carillon is regularly done by a volunteer. Organ repair and piano tuning are scheduled by the Music Ministry. Computer Support Group This group is responsible for Grace Lutheran computers and related equipment. This involves repair and upgrade of office computers, backup of all networked computer hard drives, maintenance of computer anti-virus and periodic upgrades. Administrative maintenance of the office Servant Keeper database and participation in office planning for computer and related equipment upgrades are also the responsibility of this Computer Support Group. |
