Music MinistryMusic Minister - Jane KuhlmanTo volunteer, or for more information call the Church Office at 375-9768 Celebration Singers - Ruth Malik, Director The Celebration Singers rehearses every Tuesday at 5 pm and leads the 10:30 A.M. contemporary service. Guitars, string bass, woodwinds, and other instruments accompany this group in leading the service music, as well as in special music prepared for offertories, etc. Chancel Choir - Jane Kuhlman, Director The Chancel Choir rehearses every Thursday at 7:15 P.M. and sings primarily at the 8:00 A.M. traditional services September through early June. This group supports the LBW service music and prepares a wide variety of music for offertories, communion, etc., in several formats including SATB. Handbell Choir - Jane Kuhlman, Director The Handbell Choir rehearses on Sundays at 9:15 A.M. and "rings" periodically throughout the year. Members are asked to commit to specific dates and the rehearsals that coincide with the music preparation. Instrumentalists and Vocalists Instrumentalists and vocalists are invited to share their talents as part of small ensembles or as soloists on an occasional basis. Absolut Grace - Praise Band - Middle School to College Students The Praise Band practices on Sunday at 5:00 P.M. right before the High School Youth Group. If you go to the youth group dinner is provided right after practice. This is a band so the youth can get together and show their music talents. If you are interested in playing the Praise Band or want to learn an instrument and help us out, contact Eunice Ball at the church office. |
