Christian Education ClusterTo Volunteer, of for more information call the Church Office at 375-9768 Adult Education Adult Christian Education at Grace is alive! Both ongoing and short term Bible Studies are available throughout the year. Bible Studies are offered during the Sunday Christian Education hour and also at various times during the week. Watch for times and places in your Sunday bulletin. Child Care The Nursery cares for the needs of young children (infants though 5 years old) during regularly scheduled services of the church. During the Christian Education Hour, infant through 2 years care is offered. New Member Classes New Member classes are offered throughout the year for those who wise to learn more about the Lutheran Christian faith and in particular Grace Lutheran Church. Spring and Fall classes are offered. Children's Sunday School Begins at 3 years old and continues through 12th grade. During the Christian Education hour (9:15-10:15 A.M.) through the school year, children learn about God through activities including an opening celebration time, Bible study, and crafts. A few Sundays throughout the year are reserved as 'special' Sundays where the kids join together for a creative morning of crafts of party. SONshine Land This is our summer Sunday School that meets at 9:30. Children K-5th grade will enjoy Bible stories, crafts, and songs during the second service in the summer. Vacation Bible School Vacation Bible School is a wonderful ministry to our church members as well as to our community. It is usually one week of classes and activities for children ages 4 years old through 6th grade. Women's Study 'Peace' This women's Bible study meets every 3rd Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. in various homes. They are studying "Romans: Alive in Christ," published by Concordia. Watch the Sunday Worship bulletin for locations. Youth Classes Junior High Youth - Grades 6-8 Meets Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30 P.M. at the Grace Center, studying curriculum called Faith Incubators. Senior High Youth - Grades 9-12 Meets Sundays, 6:30-8:30 P.M. at the Grace Center, studying Risk and Discover. Praise Kids The praise kids usually meet around November to start on the Children's Christmas Program. There is sing and acting. |
